HARMONY: 'Little Shop' musical to be staged
WESTOVER — Lights, camera, action! Harmony High School’s drama department has been hard at work preparing for this year’s musical, “Little Shop of Horrors,” to be staged at 7 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the high school auditorium.
The musical takes place on Skid Row, where the sun never shines and nothing goes right.
Mr. Mushnik, along with his two employees, Seymour and Audrey, tries to keep his flower shop in business.
Mr. Mushnik says he is going to close his shop once and for all when Seymour brings out a strange and interesting plant.

It looks like some sort of flytrap, and he names it Audrey Two, after Audrey. Audrey Two is looking as unhealthy as ever and Mr. Mushnik, realizing it will attract business, tells Seymour to nurse the plant back to health.
After pricking his finger on roses, Seymour realizes that Audrey Two only eats human blood. To what extremes will Seymour go to keep Audrey Two alive?
The cast and crew have all of the costumes, props and sets in place. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $5 for general admission. Children age 5 and younger will be admitted free. The Harmony Music Boosters will be selling snacks during intermission, as well as 50/50 tickets.
Come support the Harmony High School drama department.
