Originally produced at the Guthrie Theater of Minneapolis, "Fables Here and Then," written by Pulitzer Prize nominee David Feldshuh, is brought to life using nothing more than a bare stage and a versatile company of young actors and musicians from Indiana High School.

The production presents folk tales, urban legends, nursery stories, romances and tragedies from America, England, Japan, Germany and Africa.

Certain to entertain audiences of every age, the production has a little something for everyone.

Cast members are Dalton Bright, Frannie Hanna, Paul Kane, McKenzie Campbell, Rain Johns, Kevin McCreary, Thomas Nakrosis and Caleb McCombie. Stage managers are Emily Lauber and Lily Partridge, and the backstage crew consists of Ashley Wolfe, Payton Smith and assistant director Michaela Shaw.

Original music for the performance is composed and arranged by Keely McCune and Rosa Williamson-Rea. Percussion pieces are arranged by Alec Ebeling. The show also features Patrick Edwards on piano and Laura Werner on marimba and auxiliary percussion.

Show times Friday and Saturday are 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5.

All proceeds go to funding the Fringe group's trip to Scotland this summer to perform this play at the prestigious Fringe Theater Festival in Edinburgh.
