On Tuesday, the Penns Manor High School Student Council held their annual trick-or-treat night for the elementary students.

Candy was handed out in the high school at various classroom doorways. There were also games in the multipurpose room for the kids to participate in and earn more candy. Pin the Bow on the Skeleton, Musical Pumpkins (musical chairs), limbo, golf and Spider Ring Toss were just a few of the games the children could play.

The craft show is here again. This year the Penns Manor marching band is holding craft show that will be held this Saturday. Admission is free.

Tables will be set up all throughout the elementary school for crafters to show their work. There will be a wide variety of crafters and vendors selling their products throughout the day. This is a great way to start your Christmas shopping. There is something for everyone at the craft show. A full concession stand will be in the elementary cafeteria.

At 11:30 a.m., the marching band will give a performance in the multipurpose room. They will be playing their half-time show, was well as many crowd favorites. Fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade chorus members may also be singing at the show.

Throughout the day, the band members, parents and faculty will be helping the crafters. The craft show is a new fundraiser that will bring money to the band boosters for various things that include the upcoming Disney trip in 2014.

If you are bored Saturday and looking for something to do, come to the Penns Manor craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A special thanks goes out to Nancy Kuzemchak, Wanda Goehring, and Jill Super for all of their hard work.
