SEEDS OF FAITH CHRISTIAN ACADEMY: Students enjoy variety of parties
All children love to have a good time and celebrate special occasions throughout the year. Seeds of Faith Christian Academy cherishes the opportunity to make learning fun.
One way they do this is by allotting certain days throughout the year as party days. The most recent school celebration was Oct. 25.
After weekly chapel, elementary students and their teachers started their fall celebration. Parents of the students came in to school and were in charge of various aspects of the party, like games, crafts and lunch. Some of the many games included relay races, ring tosses and even pumpkin bowling. Many classes were very creative about their lunch menu.
The kindergarten class celebrated their day with pizza and root beer floats, while first grade went all out and had a full spread Thanksgiving dinner.
One of the second-grade moms got really creative and even planned for the students to have a lunch from McDonald’s. Besides all of the games, crafts and food, all of the students went home with an extra special treat. Every class sent home treat bags with the children so that they could enjoy them that night at home.
Many classes continue to look forward to future parties such as their Christmas Party, 100th Day Party and Spring Party. The junior and senior high school will join the elementary students in celebrating Christmas. It is nice for the students to have a break from the everyday routine. Everyone works really hard, so we guess you could say that they earned it.
