Turkey dinner

A turkey dinner will be held to benefit SpiritLife Recovery Community Center on Oct. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 475 S. 13th St., Indiana.

Cost is $10 for adults, $4 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children younger than 5.

Advanced tickets are available until Tuesday at Yarnick Farm, The 700 Shop, Lucy Rae, the Elks Lodge and SpiritLife. Tickets will also be available at the door. The event is open to the public.

The menu includes fresh roasted turkey, homemade stuffing, fresh mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, tossed salad, green beans, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, dessert, lemonade, and coffee and tea.

Cooking the dinner will be Chef John Mitchell and Ann Lezanic, founder and former owner of 9th Street Deli. Produce is courtesy of Yarnick Farm.
