Anna Mae (Taylor) Benamati, 87, of Tarzana, Calif., formerly of Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 10, at West Hills Hospital.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Wisniewski) Taylor, born on Feb. 21, 1933, in Indiana. She lived in California for the past 36 years since moving from Pennsylvania.
Anna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, her visits to Pennsylvania to spend time with her brother and sisters, and many vacations shared with her twin sister. Her favorite pastime was playing cards.
She is survived by five daughters, Cathy Seeman and husband, Terry, of La Quinta, Calif.; Diane Benamati, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Connie Fry, of Steamboat, Colo.; Lisa Kerr, of Clarksburg; Patty Benamati and husband Jeff, of Reseda, Calif.; and one son, Edward Benamati, of Steamboat, Colo.; brother, George Taylor and wife Carol, of Blairsville; sister, Barbara Wetzel and husband Richard, of Home; 10 grandchildren, Samantha Seeman, Danielle Leigh, Charlotte Weaver, Richard Whipple, Beth Cook, Cynthia Marks, Crystal Wepman, Keisha Emke, Dakkota Reed, Grace Reed; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her father, Joseph, in 1973, and mother, Irene, in 1983; four sisters, JoAnn Brida in 2002, Louise Percic in 2010, Lucille Tischofer in 2011, and Martha Smith in 2015; and her grandson, Shane Whipple in 2000.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
