Brady A. Petras

Brady A. Petras

Brady Anthony Petras, 14, of Commodore, died from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in Montgomery Township, Monday, Jan. 13, 2020.

Born Sept. 7, 2005, in Indiana, he was the son of Mark A. Petras and Julie (McClinsey) Petras, and the twin brother of Madison M. Petras, all of Commodore.

Brady was a member of the eighth-grade class at Purchase Line Junior/Senior High School. He loved everyone with every fiber of his being. He enjoyed gaming, hanging out with his friends, fishing, singing and listening to music. He could always make people laugh, and while he liked to tease his sister, he was proud to be her twin brother.

He sang in the school chorus and was selected to sing in the Indiana County Chorus.

Brady was a member of the East Mahoning Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents and sister, Brady is survived by his maternal grandmother, Marian McClinsey, Stow, Ohio, and by his paternal grandfather, Joseph Petras, Clymer. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Arthur “Sonny” McClinsey Jr. (Heather); Tina Haggerty, better known as “Aunt T-T”; David “Toby” McClinsey (Leslie); Mike Petras (Bev Peles); and Holly Best, also known as “Dragon Lady.” Other surviving family members include Brady’s great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his infant half sister, Kaylonnie; maternal grandfather Arthur McClinsey Sr.; and paternal grandmother Susan McConnell.

Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Clymer. Brady’s funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Scott Sauers will officiate. A private interment will be held at the East Mahoning Cemetery, Purchase Line.

Due to the medical condition of Brady’s mother, please do not send live floral arrangements to the funeral home. The Petras family asks that memorial donations be made to the Red Dragon Foundation, P.O. Box 95, Commodore, PA 15729. Please identify each donation as being for the Memory of Brady Petras.
