Carrie (Miller) Harshyne, 87, of Indiana, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary (Walker) Miller and was born March 26, 1932, in Kittanning.
She was a member of The Summit Church, Indiana Senior Citizens Card Club and a member of the VFW Ladies Golf League for over 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; two sons, Larry and wife Karen Harshyne, Sellersville; and Dennis and wife Sandy Harshyne, Shelocta; four grandchildren, Larry and wife Mandy, Wendy and husband Joe Pallozzi, Benjamin and wife Kate; and Zachary; and six great-grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua, Olivia, Ella, William and Jack. She is also survived by brothers, Ralph Miller and Donald Miller and his wife, Nancy, both of Ford City; sisters, Marie Louise Huston, Ford City, and Grace Miller and Doris Miller, both of Glen Burnie, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons Donald and Dwayne; sisters Helen Edinger and Jean Bowser; and brother Clair.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home Chapel.
