Floyd Robert Heilbrun, 87, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
A son of Amos and Kathryn (McKinney) Heilbrun, he was born May 10, 1932, in Sharpsville.
Floyd served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by the United Mine Workers and Sharp Paving. Floyd was a member of Grove Chapel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking, mowing and camping.
Surviving are his son, Christopher Heilbrun and his wife, Angelina; grandchildren Mia and Gage Heilbrun; siblings Edith (Vince) Saltsgiver, Louise (Jim) Seger, Jim (Joan) Heilbrun and Amos (Judy) Heilbrun.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ethel Heilbrun; siblings Carol Ann and Irvin Heilbrun; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Heilbrun.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
A funeral service with Pastor Tom Spiker will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel.
