Glen Norman Gardner Jr., 77, of Homer City, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, while at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The son of Glen and Cora (Overman) Gardner Sr., he was born July 26, 1942, in Homer City.
Glen was a member of the Independent Traditional Holiness Church. He enjoyed firearms, gardening and spending time outdoors. Glen always put his family first and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving is his wife, Roena (Palmer) Gardner; children, Kenneth (Leilani) Gardner, Indiana; Judy (Timothy) Zerfoss, Blairsville; and Rodney (Rebecca) Gardner, Indiana; grandchildren, Bradley Gardner, Indiana; Ashley Zerfoss, Pasadena, Md.; Michael Zerfoss, Blairsville; and Brandon, Mark, and Emily Gardner, all of Indiana; sisters, Barb (Charles) Shultz, Glenna (Blair) Hilty, Jean (Roy) Broadwater, Linda Peace, and Twila (Dave) Dilts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale and Roger Gardner; and sisters, Bonnie Lute and Dolores Peace.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be conducted to honor Glen at noon Sunday at the Independent Traditional Holiness Church, 5065 Ferguson Road, Indiana, PA 15701.
