Lois Jean (Marks) Repine, 89, of Conemaugh Township, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019.
Born Dec. 24, 1929, in Apollo, she was a daughter of the late J. Wesley Marks and Virginia (Kepple) Marks.
Lois lived in Conemaugh Township most of her life, and worked for Murphy’s 5 & 10 for a number of years, and she later sold Tupperware for 44 years. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Clarksburg, and an ordained deacon. Lois was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and also operated a farmer’s market in Indiana and Greensburg for 25 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert “Bob” Repine, who passed away on Jan. 18, 2019; brothers John W. Marks Jr., David Marks; and sisters Georgia Hermanson and Marjorie (Steve) Corley.
Lois is survived by her sons: Terence W. (Susan) Repine, of Howard; Gordon K. (DalElla) Repine, of Bellefonte; Timothy G. Repine, of Little Meadows; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers: Dale L. (Charlene) Marks, of Wasilla, Alaska; Thomas L. Marks, of Boyers; William “Bill” (Sharon) Marks, of Leechburg; sisters: Eileen Caldwell, of Berryville, Va.; Kathleen Nelson, of Naples, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Clarksburg Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 18 Clarksburg Road, Clarksburg. Everyone please meet at the church.
Private interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, at the convenience of the family.
