Mary Lou (Greene) Frick, 85, of Clymer, is rejoicing in heaven after going home to be with her Lord on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at Indiana Regional Medical Center, in Indiana.

A daughter of Clifford James Greene Sr. and Irene Eliza (Brickell) Greene, she was born Sept. 19, 1934, in Sharpsburg.

She grew up in the Purchase Line Church of the Brethren and continued attending as an adult.

On Dec. 7, 1957, Mary Lou wed Gilbert George Frick and they shared more than 62 years of marriage together.

Her career included employment as an information operator for Bell Telephone and as a secretary for the American Heart Association.

Mary Lou loved to travel, read and write in her journal. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her immediate and large extended family. Mary Lou was the family matriarch, who kept them all in line with the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Frick, of Clymer; her son, Clifford Gilbert Frick and his wife, Mary Pat, of Elizabethtown; her two grandchildren, Hope Emily Frick and fiancé Jonathan Reginella, and Paige Maureen Lenker and husband Jeremiah; her great-grandson, Arlo James Lenker; her sister-in-law, Phyllis Greene; her siblings, Bill Greene and wife Norreen; Herb Greene and wife Grace; Joyce DeLaurentiis; Mildred Head; Carson Greene Sr. and wife Rose; Judy Welty; Pete Greene Sr.; and Amy Goss and husband Gary; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; her baby sister, Margaret Greene; her brother Clifford Greene Jr.; her five brothers-in-law Dean Lockard, Tony Nastasi, Bob Head, Joe DeLaurentiis and Butch Welty; and her sister-in-law Bernice Greene.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Rairigh Funeral Home Ltd. in Hillsdale, and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service by Dr. Douglas Greene and the Rev. Robert M. Thacker at 11 a.m. at Purchase Line Church of the Brethren, 3711 Purchase Line Road, Clymer.

Interment will be at Ruffner Cemetery, Tanoma Road, Clymer.
