The decision to launch a metered pay wall and charge for our digital content stems from our belief that excellence in local reporting of news, sports, health, lifestyles, business and the arts has great value to our customers both in print and digital formats. We believe that the communities we serve recognize the value of the information we present, regardless of their choice to consume it in print or digital format.
Award-winning reporting, editing and multi-media production is expensive, and news organizations like The Indiana Gazette increasingly recognize that they cannot continue to provide content – accurate, credible, authoritative – for free that is costly to produce.

I’m currently a home-delivery PRINT subscriber. What do I need to do for unlimited digital access?
All print subscriptions include unlimited digital access as an added benefit to your print subscription. You may continue to use your current login information if you have an active print subscription and have previously registered at indianagazette.com. Click here to register if you currently have a print subscription and have not created a digital log-in.
You will need your Indiana Gazette subscription account number in order to register online. Your account number is located on your invoice, or you may call (724) 465-5555 ext. 248 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.; Saturday between 8 a.m. to 5p.m.; and Sunday between 5 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
I’m a current digital subscriber. What do I need to do?
Nothing at all. Your current log-in will continue to provide unlimited access to indianagazette.com.
Will I have to log in every time I go to indianagazette.com?
Once you log into indianagazette.com on all of your devices, you should not have to log in again.
What are my subscription options?
Residents within The Indiana Gazette’s home-delivery area are eligible to subscribe to an Unlimited Digital and Print Subscription, providing daily (7-day) delivery of the print edition, plus unlimited digital access to The Indiana Gazette via mobile device or PC. How are digital subscriptions billed?
Subscriptions are billed through our Auto Pay plan on the debit or credit card of your choice. All major credit cards are accepted. You will be charged on your renewal date (the date you signed up) and your subscription will be renewed automatically every month unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. However, you will not be refunded the current month’s billing fee. Your cancellation will take effect before the start of the next billing period. Once your subscription ends, you will still be able to view a limited number of articles a month on Indianagazette.com just like any other non-subscriber.
What if I choose not to purchase a subscription?
Non-subscribers may view five (5) Indiana Gazette articles online every 30 days. Content limited by the paywall includes all local, regional, national and worldwide news; local, guest and syndicated columns and editorials; photo galleries and videos.
Non-subscribers will have access to multiple resources and guides on The Indiana Gazette Online, as well as select news content at the discretion of the editorial department of The Indiana Gazette.

What if I previously registered at indianagazette.com and I am not a subscriber?
You are still able to login to this account and utilize the dashboard feature as a registered user, but if you want to access articles and stories that require a subscription you will have to add a subscription to your account.
Can I read Indiana Gazette articles that are shared on social media?
Stories that are accessed through social media including, but not limited to Facebook and Twitter, count toward your monthly limit if you are not a subscriber.
Do articles that I access through a search engine count toward my monthly limit?
Yes. Articles that are accessed via a search engine like Google or Firefox count toward your monthly limit if you are not a subscriber.
If I go back and read an article I've already viewed, will that count toward my limit?
Yes. Viewing an article that you've already read will count toward your limit.
How can I keep track of how many articles I have viewed every 30 days?
A pop-up alert will appear on your screen when you have two articles remaining and when you reach your 30-day limit.
I've signed up for updates like Indiana in a Nutshell through email. Are these alerts affected by my subscriber status?
No. You do not have to be a digital subscriber in order to receive email blasts from The Indiana Gazette. However, if you aren't a subscriber, the articles that you access through The Indiana Gazette email blasts will count toward your monthly limit.
