Frequently Asked Questions

Why is The Indiana Gazette now charging for its online content?

The decision to launch a metered paywall and charge for our digital content stems from our belief that excellence in local reporting of news, sports, health, lifestyles, business and the arts has great value to our customers both in print and digital formats. We believe that the communities we serve recognize the value of the information we present, regardless of their choice to consume it in print or digital format.

Award-winning reporting, editing and multimedia production is expensive, and news organizations like The Indiana Gazette increasingly recognize that they cannot continue to provide content – accurate, credible, authoritative – for free that is costly to produce

You will be prompted with Google surveys until you start your subscription or until you run out of free articles.
