PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP — Indiana’s Little League U12 softball all-star season bowed out of the state tournament Friday with an 11-2 loss to Back Mountain.

The game started Thursday but was postponed due to rain with Back Mountain leading 1-0 in the top of the second inning. When the game resumed Friday, Back Mountain scored three runs in second, one in the third and five in the fourth.

Indiana managed only three hits, one each from Courtney Cass, Sydney Anderson and Kami Snyder.

Jayla Peterson took the loss.

Indiana finished the all-star season with a 7-2 record and a fifth-place finish in the state following District 7 and Section 4 championships.
